Friends of Abrams is a volunteer organization established to promote good works, a neighborly atmosphere, and to help bring the community together. Through several community based fundraising activities, the organization acquires funds in order to donate, reinvest, and support the community at large. Funds raised are used for scholarships, relief for fire victims, gas & meal cards for cancer patients, grocery donations for the elderly, support for the fire department, nursing home gifts at Christmas, and poinsettia & flower donations. The Friends of Abrams meetings are held at the Abrams Town Hall (conference room) on the 3rd Tuesday of the month at 6:30 p.m.
